I made a vegan Dubai chocolate bar

I wanted to try a proper vegan version of the viral  Dubai chocolate. I have tried the one from Palm bites  and  it’s good but it’s a healthier version made from dark chocolate and the pistachio is the crunch. I have also tried the cookie from Naturally Vero since they had an option to get it with my meal prep delivery. They do make a chocolate bar  but they don’t deliver it. I like the cookie filling but find it was too heavy in the cookie. Juice Dudez also has the filling in a mango pudding which is excellent but they don’t do a vegan chocolate yet. I am hoping I will convince them or any other Ottawa vendor to make one some day. In the meantime I had to make one myself.  I have asked my vendor friends to make me one even sent them the recipes but no one has yet. I really wanted to try a proper unhealthy version just once. Airfryer Pasta chips TikTok trend






I have been seeing the pasta chip trend all over Instagram. You cook the pasta normally then season and airfry it for ten minutes and you end up with crunchy chips. I have wanted to try but it as been too hot to cook anything until today. 


This morning before I went out I boiled the pasta. I had bought these bigger shell pasta awhile ago to make a stuffed shell recipe. It was cheaper to buy 2 bags I didn’t know what I was going to do with the extra pasta until now. 


I cut the pasta into thirds and decided to add most of the spices I have. Bagel seasoning, curry powder, nutritional yeast, cayenne, salt and pepper. I didn’t look up the recipe and also added some olive oil. The seasoning was good I ate some of the pasta from that plate. 

I set the air fryer to 360 for ten minutes. When I checked on it half way I thought I probably should have looked up the recipe but after ten minutes they look great. 

 

When I first tried them they were dry but I know everyone has been eating them with a dip. I added vegan mayo and ended up eating the whole plate while writing this. It was good. 

This time I used a 100% semolina pasta from Italy. In the future I will try other pastas made from different ingredients. These will definitely satisfy a craving for a crunchy snack.
