Day 6 Jamaica Trip April 2024

We went for breakfast at 7:30 as we had booked a driver that was to pick us up at 8:00 am. There were plantains on the buffet this morning and they were good. We were going to Nine Mile which is Bob Marley’s house and some other sightseeing. We couldn’t arrange for the driver to pick up my friends aunt as she lives too far away. We will try and have her come to the resort tomorrow. It’s our last day and I really want to spend one day relaxing at the resort before we leave. Tomorrow is also 4/20 and all over Ocho Rios were signs for parties and discounts. I don’t want to get stuck on the traffic.  The road to Nine mile was so narrow and bumpy. I spent most of the time holding on while listening to my friend and the driver banter and flirt. It is pretty rare that someone can keep up with my friends feistiness so it was entertaining. Whole Foods, Heirloom restaurant, and Focus Group and internet Earnings

On Saturday my mom, brother, and brother's girlfriend went out for lunch to have an early celebration of my brothers girlfriends birthday. We went to Heirloom restaurant which is a place I have wanted to try for a long time. It had a vegetarian and a vegan menu there was a 20 minute wait to get a table and this was on Saturday at lunch time. I had a primo Benedict which was good but wasn't anything different than what I get in other places except it had guacamole and salsa instead of meat. My brother and my mom both wanted soup but they had just ran out and it would take them an hour to make a new one at least we know their food is fresh. My brother had a salad with a side of field sausage his salad was huge and had lots of mushrooms it was good. My mom had quinoa nut fritters and a pancake the fritters were exactly like something my mom would make tasted like a lentil fritter but it was good. The pancake was a buckwheat pancake it was okay.
