Vegan Eggnog Latte’s that were available in Ottawa December 2024

The world has been changing so rapidly. It is now March 2025 and I tried all the vegan eggnogs in December 2024. It is still snowing in Ottawa so it’s still winter. I don’t know if these businesses will still have the same drinks next year and thought about not posting this because it’s so late but I still want to showcase these businesses. They may not have eggnog latte’s anymore but they have other seasonal drinks.   The drink that inspired this post was a vegan eggnog latte from Les Moulins La Fayette Hintonburg. This is one of my favourite cafes in Ottawa they have amazing vegan sandwiches and even some vegan bakery items. Until I saw the sign outside last year I didn’t know they had vegan eggnog. I drank this drink for months last year it but I had forgotten about it. They use a house made syrup that I really enjoyed. 2025 Contest Prize Wins updated March 2025

  Last year I started keeping track of the prizes I won. You can read that post here  2024 Contest Prize Wins . It is a great post to have for memories so I’m going to start a new post for 2025. I won a limited edition veg’n bake box from Wholly Veggie. This is a very interesting prize because there are only 100 of these limited edition boxes made so I’m excited to be one of the rare people that received one.  These are coating blends but they don’t have wierd chemicals ingredients in them. They are made with vegetables, seasonings, and a few other normal ingredients. There are three flavours and the clover one smelled so good I had to try it.  These shakers can be used on anything just wet the ingredients shake it up in a container with a lid and bake. I was thinking when I was vegetarian I used to make shake&bake tofu often and since I have been vegan I haven’t made it. Vancouver and Bowen Island trip October 2024 - lots of vegan food

This post will mostly be about the vegan food I ate on my last Vancouver trip. My main purpose of this trip was to visit older relatives but there was a secondary purpose of visiting my mom’s grave for the first time.  I left from Ottawa airport in the evening but I hadn’t eaten much that day. I usually don’t get food on planes but I was hungry and they had a vegan wrap. It was good. You can read about my flight experience here   Is AirCanada bulkhead seat worth an $80 Flights from Ottawa usually arrive in Vancouver in the evening. Before exiting the gates there is a cafe that has to live for treats. Rebel cookies were on sale at the store. There is very little vegan food around my hotel so I stocked up for the week. After getting luggage there is a 7-11 in the airport to get some essentials for the trip.
