2 ingredient High Protein Vegan Bagels with Gluten Free recipe

I know you are all going to ask for a recipe.  I don’t actually measure ingredients or follow recipes but I will try to give you a recipe at the end of the post.  I started by making a 2 ingredient bagel. This is usually made with self rising flour and yogurt. I don’t have self rising flour so I added a 1/2 each teaspoon of baking powder and baking soda. I also added 2 tbsp of nutritional yeast and a pinch of salt for flavour.  The only vegan yogurt I have tried that I like is the lime flavour high protein silk. I like the texture and the taste of this one. I was a bit worried that the lime flavour wouldn’t taste good in this bagel but I like the way it turned out. You can use any yogurt you want but try and use a thicker one. I used a third of a cup just add some and mix with a spoon until all the flour is incorporated.  I shaped it by hand let it rest for 5 minutes. I preheated the airfryer oven and air fried for 20 minutes.  This was perfect: chewy on the out...

Starbucks hot apple crisp macchiato

In a previous post I reviewed the iced apple crisp. Today is a strange weather day it’s sunny and raining at the same time. Cold from the wind and hot from the sun at the same time. It seemed to be a perfect day to try a fall drink released in summer.  I also had stars that were going to expire soon. I would normally order a tall since I was using the stars I got a grande. The only customization I did was request coconut milk. I know it’s not the best for this kind of drink it’s the one I like the most. Otherwise I wanted to try it the way it came.  Previously I had gone shopping with my mom and then decided to walk home. I had a heavy bag of flour to carry on the 1.5 km home. I was hoping that I could sit outside at Starbucks. All the outside tables were taken and inside was efficient with them having a person opening and closing the door and telling you to go pick up your mobile order if it’s there. Beyond Meat Nuggets at A&W Canada

I remember a couple years ago when I tried the vegan nuggets at A&W Canada.They were good but I preferred the beyond burger. I thought they would be around for awhile but then they were gone. I never had a chance to try the KFC vegan popcorn chick’n before they were gone. I went to A&W the first day the Beyond Meat nuggets came out all the advertising advises they are only here for a limited time. I wanted to ensure I tried them before they get sold out. I have seen reviews of people that like them but some of their posts are sponsored. None of my posts are sponsored just my real opinion.  I have been vegetarian for over 30 years I don’t remember liking chicken nuggets when I ate meat. I do like the Gardein brand vegan strips but they aren’t sold at fast food restaurants. I still prefer a vegan burger over nuggets any day.  The nuggets come in a 4 piece kids size, 6 pieces, 10 pieces.
