Is Air Canada Bulkhead Seat worth an $80 upgrade

I took a flight from Ottawa to Vancouver. I could see from the seating map that the flight was fully booked. I usually pay to book a window seat and then try and get a seat with no one beside me at the last minute it works 50% of the time and the planes that I have been on leaving from Ottawa are not usually full. This time was different the airport was busier than I have ever seen it. I could tell from the seating map the plane was full. It cost $40 to book a window seat. I saw a last minute opening for a bulkhead window seat and decided to try it. It cost $80 to upgrade to the bulkhead seat but the $40 I already paid would get credited. I liked the idea of having a wall in front of me on such a packed flight.  I have free check in luggage with my credit card so I usually only take a backpack to leave under my seat on the plane. 2018 Goal Reached earned over $1375 from the internet and $1500 Goal for 2019

Last year I wasn't sure if I would be able to meet this goal but I actually passed it. I am happy about meeting this goal so of course I am motivated to pass it again. 2019 my goal will be $1500 because my circumstances have changed a little since last year. I have a new job with a long commute and not a lot of internet access when I am out. $1500 seems realistic where I have to work but it won't be overwhelming. My requirements are still that I do things I enjoy and can do them anytime I want with no commitment.

I will post links in the future but I really wanted to get this post out before 2019. Here is a breakdown of the earnings

I went into menopause in my forties after having uterine fibroid embolization for fibroids. I was loving menopause not worrying about bleeding was so great. All the symptoms I had except for a few were easier than dealing with fibroid periods. I went to Jamaica with my friend in April and she got hers on the trip and I was like I don’t miss those days. I enter and win a lot of contests but I always forget to keep track of what I win. This year I will keep updating this post as my prizes come in.  Contest win #10 I won a $50 gift certificate from Parkdale food center for Marche Hintonburg. Parkdale food center is an incredible organization that provides food and meals to those in the community in Ottawa. Ever since I moved to Ottawa I have been a regular supporter of this organization I believe everyone should have equal access to food. It is also very important to the neighbourhood and the community regularly holds events to support.
