2 ingredient High Protein Vegan Bagels with Gluten Free recipe

I know you are all going to ask for a recipe.  I don’t actually measure ingredients or follow recipes but I will try to give you a recipe at the end of the post.  I started by making a 2 ingredient bagel. This is usually made with self rising flour and yogurt. I don’t have self rising flour so I added a 1/2 each teaspoon of baking powder and baking soda. I also added 2 tbsp of nutritional yeast and a pinch of salt for flavour.  The only vegan yogurt I have tried that I like is the lime flavour high protein silk. I like the texture and the taste of this one. I was a bit worried that the lime flavour wouldn’t taste good in this bagel but I like the way it turned out. You can use any yogurt you want but try and use a thicker one. I used a third of a cup just add some and mix with a spoon until all the flour is incorporated.  I shaped it by hand let it rest for 5 minutes. 2017 Goal Reached Earned $1000 CDN from the internet and $1375 Goal for 2018

I am so excited that I actually accomplished this goal I have some previous posts on what apps and sites I used. As promised in the last post here is the breakdown on how I earned it.

I actually earned a little more but I lost $15 with Qricket. I am no longer a VIP member so I expect I will be able to earn something with Qricket in 2018. I am not stopping here the goal for 2018 is $1375. 

To be clear not all of this is cash some of it is in gift cards so here is the breakdown on how I chose to convert the earnings. 

Mturk - amazon.com credits converted to Whole Foods and Starbucks gift cards
Focus Groups - Were paid in cash
Swagbucks - Starbucks gift cards
EVA - paid by cheque
Prolific - paid by paypal
Ipsos I say - Starbucks gift cards
Pinecone - paid by paypal

I keep thinking about why I met this goal this year if you read this blog you know that I have been trying for three years. The reason is I could see results which kept me motivated. If something no longer worked I could change to something else. The reason I did much better with Mturk than last year is I joined a facebook group that is amazing and supportive. Keep working at your goals, finding new ways to achieve them and joining communities with the same goals one day you will achieve them. 

The tentative plan for 2018 with knowing that everything on the internet can change in a few weeks and the way to meet the goal may have to change.

Mturk - $750 CDN - this is possible if things stay at the current rate I am at $20 USD a week now
Prolific -$200 CDN - I joined in November and made $42 at a slow time of year
Swagbucks -$150 CDN - there is more potential in Swagbucks than I use 
Field Agent - $150 - the last half of 2017 was slow hopefully will get better again
Pinecone - $50 - There wasn't much work in 2017 
Other - $75 - I expect that I may not make the mturk goal and will have to supplement with other work so I am setting this low but know that there is a buffer in here. 

Goal for 2018 is $1375 Canadian Dollars

2025 Contest wins updated September 2025

Last year I started keeping track of the prizes I won. You can read that post here  2024 Contest Prize Wins . It is a great post to have for memories so I’m going to start a new post for 2025. Updated September 2025 I received two more prizes from the Coke contest that I won the prize pack from in August. The first item was the emoji cup.  It’s a thicker cup but I think it’s a plastic cup with a wiggly straw. Nice cup but it’s not dishwasher safe so I will probably give it away. I just went to look up the value and people are selling this for $25. Its value is $14.99.  The best part of this prize was learning exactly what those mysterious lockers are for. I’ve lived in my building for three years we have Canada Post lockers, and a package room but there are these other lockers. None of my neighbors knew what it was for. I went into menopause in my forties after having uterine fibroid embolization for fibroids. I was loving menopause not worrying about bleeding was so great.
