Vancouver and Bowen Island trip October 2024 - lots of vegan food

This post will mostly be about the vegan food I ate on my last Vancouver trip. My main purpose of this trip was to visit older relatives but there was a secondary purpose of visiting my mom’s grave for the first time.  I left from Ottawa airport in the evening but I hadn’t eaten much that day. I usually don’t get food on planes but I was hungry and they had a vegan wrap. It was good. You can read about my flight experience here   Is AirCanada bulkhead seat worth an $80 Flights from Ottawa usually arrive in Vancouver in the evening. Before exiting the gates there is a cafe that has to live for treats. Rebel cookies were on sale at the store. There is very little vegan food around my hotel so I stocked up for the week. After getting luggage there is a 7-11 in the airport to get some essentials for the trip. Week of February 19 2017 Bridal Shower, Vegetable Soup, and Tiramisu

Today I went my cousins bridal shower. My younger cousins are starting to get married now and the people who threw the shower had never even attended a bridal shower before. It was very well done for a first time party. This was a tame party as family was involved. It was a house party with take out Thai food and very nice cakes made by another cousin I wish I got a picture. The games revealed that the couple have a lot to learn about each other even though they have known each other for fifteen years. I won a prize for getting the most answers right on whether the bride or groom said certain answers. It's kind of interesting that I won because I have only met the groom to be once for a few minutes and I don't spend very much time with my cousin as she is much younger than me. Anyways yeah I won this great prize package. I count this as my first win for 2017. The nailpolish and kisses were a party favour but the rest was the prize. February 12, 2017 Foodie buddy guest blogs about Pie or Pye

A quick update on my life work drama and things I can't blog about have been taking up all my time and then the guest blog about pie. I finished the beachbody challenge and will be getting a few dollars probably $20 or so not bad as it did help me lose a couple of pounds. I am on to the next challenge  which is just to win prizes but I find this one harder as it requires doing any workout for 30 days straight. It's only been two days and I almost missed one but didn't so I will be happy if i do make it through the 30 days I am doing a variety as there is so much on beachbody on demand. I tried yoga booty ballet today and really like it. This week I went to see a play at Capilano college Fawlty Towers it was for my mom's birthday and she liked the tv show. I thought the play was really good it was 90 minutes but went by really quickly. I also ate at Marcello's pizza which I have never been to before. It was a true Italian restaurant was very good had a taste of pizz...
