Day 4 Jamaica Trip 2024

It rain stormed last night  it was cloudy and windy in the morning. My friend wanted to go on the nature walk around the hotel again I decided to join this time it started at 9:30. We had a quick breakfast buffet before going on the walk. It was nice the weather was a little cooler today. I did ask the tour desk if our rafting tour is still going today she said it’s a different area so weather is different and it will be going.  The tour was great. There are a lot of plants around the property and Donavan told us all about the health benefits of the plants. I will link an Instagram Reel of all the plants once it’s uploaded.  Donavan also showed us the cat sleeping in the tree. They have a feeding area for the cats where they give them the buffet leftovers. This is why the cats are happy and content at the resort. They sleep during the day and go hunting at night. I tried Purdy’s vegan sweet Georgia Browns chocolate

Purdy’s chocolate has really been stepping up their vegan chocolate selections. They have created a mylk using rice powder. Originally they introduced a few types of simple chocolate bars. I have tried all of them and they are all good. 

Recently Purdy’s released vegan sweet Georgia browns. I have had the non vegan version and they are not my favourite but they are very popular. I always love to support companies when they introduce new vegan products so I tried them expecting I wouldn’t like them. I was wrong. 

The Sweet Georgia browns come in either a package of 2 or a bigger package. The package of 2 for the non vegan costs $5.50 and the vegan costs $6. It is understandable the vegan ones will cost more as they are a new product and I personally think the ingredients are better. 


They are a little difficult to get out of the package because there is no chocolate on the bottom. It is a lot of pecans in the beautiful vegan caramel  topped with chocolate. 

These are delicious and well worth the price. They are packed with nuts. The caramel is not insanely sweet it matches perfect with the nuts and holds everything together well.

The only thing I wished would be different was more chocolate. It does have a good amount of chocolate on it but I would prefer to have a little more maybe on the bottom to make it easier to get out of the package. 

I will definitely be buying the vegan Sweet Georgia Browns again and look forward to seeing more vegan options at Purdy’s chocolate in the future.

Fibroids, Ultrasound, MRI and UFE during a pandemic

This has been a two year journey so far I am not sure why I have been procrastinating on writing this. I think it’s very important to that woman talk about their experiences. I did not know what fibroids were until I was diagnosed with them.   I went to my doctor one day because it had been a few months since I had a period. Previous to that I was getting them every 2-4 weeks. There was no chance that I was pregnant and I had started a job where I was the only female in the office. Westjet economy vs Air Canada business class

In June I knew I was going to Vancouver from Ottawa and if you know me I can’t buy anything unless it’s on sale. If you are new to my blog I lived in Vancouver almost my whole life and last year I moved to Ottawa so I go to Vancouver frequently to visit friends and relatives.
