Started 2025 with a trip to Las Vegas

It’s now December 31, 2025 Im drinking tea in an ice cream shop in Ottawa realizing I never finished this post. I drafted this post earlier in the year but it’s all still relevant.  The  way the world has changed in the last few months I feel like I need to explain that I went to Las Vegas in early 2025 because I knew things were going to change after January 20. I didn’t know how. I was expecting more violence and less direct flights. I never expected that things would change so quickly in a few months. It is now the beginning of March and it’s hard to keep up. Anyways flights and tourism to US destinations are already significantly reduced from Canada. I finished this trip knowing it would be awhile before I visited the US again and it was a pretty perfect trip for my memories and I am glad I took it.  I have been to Las Vegas many times you can read about some of my previous trips on this blog. 2017 Goal Reached Earned $1000 CDN from the internet and $1375 Goal for 2018

I am so excited that I actually accomplished this goal I have some previous posts on what apps and sites I used. As promised in the last post here is the breakdown on how I earned it. Total                                        $2017 Amazon mturk $413.81 focus groups $225.00 Swagbucks $105.00 field agent 98.25 EVA 62 prolific 42.05 ipsos isay 10 pinecone 42 shoppers army 31.5 Total $1,029.61 I actually earned a little more but I lost $15 with Qricket. I am no longer a VIP member so I expect I will be able to earn something with Qricket in 2018. I am not stopping here the goal for 2018 is $1375.  To be clear not all of this is cash some of it is in gift cards so here is the breakdown on how I chose to convert the earnings.  Mturk - amazon.com credits ...

There cannot be any commitment, I have to be able to do things whenever I feel like it, stop for long periods of time if I want, and cash back sites and contest winnings do not count. I have to have received the money either in the form of gift cards or PayPal. I have been trying for over two years and this is the first year I think I am going to be able to meet this goal. It is not a fast process but it can be done. I know it is possible to make a lot more but I still want this to be a fun hobby not a job...
