Day 4 Jamaica Trip 2024

It rain stormed last night  it was cloudy and windy in the morning. My friend wanted to go on the nature walk around the hotel again I decided to join this time it started at 9:30. We had a quick breakfast buffet before going on the walk. It was nice the weather was a little cooler today. I did ask the tour desk if our rafting tour is still going today she said it’s a different area so weather is different and it will be going.  The tour was great. There are a lot of plants around the property and Donavan told us all about the health benefits of the plants. I will link an Instagram Reel of all the plants once it’s uploaded.  Donavan also showed us the cat sleeping in the tree. They have a feeding area for the cats where they give them the buffet leftovers. This is why the cats are happy and content at the resort. They sleep during the day and go hunting at night. Plant based cheese sticks

We have a grocery store here called No frills. The name describes it prices are good but the quality is also good. It is a nice grocery store. 

Presidents choice is the brand that no frills and the other grocery stores in the same group of companies carry. They have a good line of vegan products. 

The last few times I have visited No Frills I have looked at the plant based Mozzarella sticks. The box was almost $8 I was hoping they would go on sale. They didn’t so I finally decided to try them. 

I cooked them in the air fryer and probably overcooked them so the cheese came out. 


These were much better than I was expecting them to be. The cheese was like cream cheese. It would be great as a jalapeño popper. 

I will definitely buy these again and now I think the box of 20 for less than $8 was a good price.

It has been over six months since I had Uterine Fibroid Embolization (UFE). I have some previous blogs about getting diagnosed and the day of the procedure. I knew I wasn't going to be allowed to get up for hours nor did I feel like it I didn't realize that I wouldn't be allowed to get up all night because of the urinary catheter. Fibroids, Ultrasound, MRI and UFE during a pandemic

This has been a two year journey so far I am not sure why I have been procrastinating on writing this. I think it’s very important to that woman talk about their experiences. I did not know what fibroids were until I was diagnosed with them.   I went to my doctor one day because it had been a few months since I had a period. Previous to that I was getting them every 2-4 weeks. There was no chance that I was pregnant and I had started a job where I was the only female in the office. In the past my cycle was influenced by other woman. I was not around any so I originally thought it was normal then I wondered if I was going into early menopause. I was in my forties and started my period when I was 10.  My doctor assured me that because I have hypothyroidism and low iron irregular cycles are normal. In June I knew I was going to Vancouver from Ottawa and if you know me I can’t buy anything unless it’s on sale. If you are new to my blog I lived in Vancouver almost my whole life and last year I moved to Ottawa so I go to Vancouver frequently to visit friends and relatives.
