Better Forking vegan Mac and cheese review

Image
I found better forking Vegan Mac and cheese at Home Sense. It was $4.99 The ingredients are simple slightly different than other Mac and Cheese as it has potato and coconut flour in it. The instructions say to cook the pasta for 7-8 minutes but I found mine took 10 to cook.  I don’t always follow instructions when I cook but I am trying to have the same comparisons for all my mac and cheese reviews. Usually the instructions will say to make the sauce by adding vegan butter, plant milk, and cheese packet then add the pasta. The steps were slightly different on the box drain the pasta and quickly put it back in the pan. Add the butter stir. Add the powder stir. Add the plant milk stir. Then let sit for a couple minutes. I tried the pasta with seasoning before I added the milk and I really liked it. It tasted like nacho cheese powder. When I added the milk the taste changed it may be because I only had almond milk it’s not bad though. I added some parmela creamy vegan cheese and really li

Update on mturk earnings

If you read by post on New Year's goals you would have seen that at the time I was earning pennies on mturk. I really gave up on it until last weekend. I had some free time so decided to take a look at what was available to me. I did an activity that was like playing a video game for 15 minutes which was worth 0.50 for the work and then I got a $1.60 bonus on it. That hooked me in and I decided to see if I could earn $3.00 a day on it for the week. I spent a couple hours after work completing surveys while watching tv and once I discovered I could do it on my phone I did them on my commute. There was a couple of days where i was tired and didn't really feel like doing anything but I got lucky in that there was a $4 or $5 survey available. I never do anything that will take me longer than half an hour I don't have the patience. I have returned a lot of hits but that doesn't affect the stats so I would just try it see if it was a waste of my time and return it.

I gave up on mturk too early maybe these hits were not available to me previously as I hadn't completed my first 100 hits yet. I am also doing fine with getting hits even though my rejection percentage isn't very good 96% seems to be the minimum for some hits. My percentage is low from when I was doing those 0.01 hits and made the mistake of being really tired and trying to work. Now I will only stick to mostly survey hits as they pay well and they are less likely to be rejected and its improving my percentage I was at 94% at the beginning of the week now its 95.5%

I have been reading on how to make money on mturk and most people say more hits will open up after 1000 hits. I still have over 800 items to go but its no problem making my goal of $3 per day so far this week this alone would get me to my $1000 goal this year if I did it everyday. I am avoiding those 0.01 cent hits now and just going for minimum 0.25 as these are way better. I don't think there are many Canadians that are doing this now so whenever there is a Canadian only survey out they are easy for me to get. I am just not sure if it was a really good week or it's going to be like this or better in the future. I did find that last weekend there was work that was worth me doing  and this weekend there wasn't. The weekdays seem to be the better days.

I also researched how to spend the money as a Canadian and it looks like I can buy whole foods gift cards with the money so I am going to try that and will do a future blog post on that.
