Day 4 Jamaica Trip 2024

It rain stormed last night  it was cloudy and windy in the morning. My friend wanted to go on the nature walk around the hotel again I decided to join this time it started at 9:30. We had a quick breakfast buffet before going on the walk. It was nice the weather was a little cooler today. I did ask the tour desk if our rafting tour is still going today she said it’s a different area so weather is different and it will be going.  The tour was great. There are a lot of plants around the property and Donavan told us all about the health benefits of the plants. I will link an Instagram Reel of all the plants once it’s uploaded.  Donavan also showed us the cat sleeping in the tree. They have a feeding area for the cats where they give them the buffet leftovers. This is why the cats are happy and content at the resort. They sleep during the day and go hunting at night. I tried the new Starbucks Pineapple Refresher

I had stars that were going to expire so I decided to try the new refresher. I have seen some reviews of people that love it and others of people that hate it. It’s often sold out but I was in a location where they had it. 

I am not really a fan of pineapple flavours. I like other refreshers from Starbucks and I love passion fruit so thought it might be good. There are options to add coconut milk or lemonade. I always get coconut milk in my coffee but I don’t like it in refreshers and I always like lemonade.

The drink at first seemed okay but it had a strange bitter aftertaste after each sip. I am not sure the addition of the lemonade made it like that but my mom and I both didn’t like it. It was drinkable but not something I would order again. I will stick to the the Mango Dragon Fruit refresher as my go to refresher from Starbucks.

It has been over six months since I had Uterine Fibroid Embolization (UFE). I have some previous blogs about getting diagnosed and the day of the procedure. Fibroids, Ultrasound, MRI and UFE during a pandemic

This has been a two year journey so far I am not sure why I have been procrastinating on writing this. I think it’s very important to that woman talk about their experiences. I did not know what fibroids were until I was diagnosed with them.   I went to my doctor one day because it had been a few months since I had a period. Previous to that I was getting them every 2-4 weeks. There was no chance that I was pregnant and I had started a job where I was the only female in the office. In the past my cycle was influenced by other woman. I was not around any so I originally thought it was normal then I wondered if I was going into early menopause. I was in my forties and started my period when I was 10.  My doctor assured me that because I have hypothyroidism and low iron irregular cycles are normal. Westjet economy vs Air Canada business class

In June I knew I was going to Vancouver from Ottawa and if you know me I can’t buy anything unless it’s on sale. If you are new to my blog I lived in Vancouver almost my whole life and last year I moved to Ottawa so I go to Vancouver frequently to visit friends and relatives.
