I tried all the vegan soft serve in Ottawa

I tried all the vegan soft serve in Ottawa. I probably missed a few but I did try a lot of them. I have lived in Ottawa for two years and I was still transitioning from vegetarian to vegan when I moved here. I don’t remember having a lot of soft serve in Vancouver when I did eat dairy. I only remember having it at McDonald’s and buffets. I didn’t even know vegan soft serve was a thing until I moved to Ottawa. I tried six places The Merry Dairy, Oddburger, Little Jo Berry’s, Chocolate Favouris, IKEA, PastelXCoco, and 2 bonuses dole whip from Cinnaholic and the plant based dilly bar from Dairy Queen. I also went to Mavericks but they have been having supply issues and the soft serve is currently not vegan. Let me know if I missed any and maybe I’ll update the post in the future.  The Merry Dairy was the first vegan soft serve I had in Ottawa. I remember thinking I had to wait in line to get into the store only to learn soft serve was at the truck with no line. I was super excited that I

Grand Bahia Turqesa Dominican Republic

This is an all inclusive resort in punta Cana. It is a complex of five resorts and this is the furthest from the beach and the cheapest. I really enjoyed it the staff were all friendly our housekeeper didn't speak English and I only speak a little Spanish but it wasn't a problem she was always around we could communicate what we needed. There was only one bed in the room we wanted two so they came right away and made the day bed it was comfy. There was always a tram available to take us where we wanted to go but we spent most of our time at our resorts pool lobby and buffet which was only a few minute walk or at the main hotel which had shops and a casino was also a short walk as well. We did take the tram a few times to see the restaurant and other resorts a couple of time just because it was a fun ride. The beach was beautiful they kept the sand so clean the first time I thought it's really rare that sand is so soft with no rocks in it but the second time it was windy and there was a kit of sticks around they spend a lot of time cleaning the beach. There was food available during the day lots of choices pretty much everything was buffet with lots of variety I had no problem finding vegetarian food. The evening most of the restaurants convert to a la cart which need reservations we only went to one because we couldn't get the times we wanted it was good. We enjoyed the buffet they also had theme nights so it wasn't the same thing every night. I also enjoyed the coffee and hot chocolate vending machine in the lobby I only drink espresso based drinks so it was nice that was always available along with regular tea coffee juice. I don't drink alchohal so I didn't use the bar much I tried a Virgin mojito and it was sugar sweet syrup so I was much happier drinking my tea and coffee. The casino made a nice Virgin fruit punch it was the same menu as the other resort bars but I tried it at another bar and it was sugar syrup again. The resort is big and beautiful but it is easy and safe to walk everywhere or take a tram the staff is super nice they will make sure you are looked after. I was looking for relaxation not adventure I had s pool a bed and food and so much everything that I wanted I got.
